What Campers Will Learn
We combine fun in the saddle with the science of agriculture and the responsibility of barn management.
Riding Skills: Instruction in English and Western basics, focusing on balance and control.
Total Horsemanship: Safety, handling, grooming, tacking, and understanding horse behavior/communication.
Science & Stewardship: Basic agricultural and equine science, plus barn management and teamwork.
Character Growth: Activities designed to foster confidence, leadership, and personal responsibility.
Camper Checklist & Requirements
Please review carefully before registering. To maintain a safe and focused environment, we have specific requirements for gear and food.
Required Riding Gear:
Helmet: ASTM/SEI-approved riding helmet (Rentals available; limited quantity).
Footwear: Boots with a distinct heel (No sneakers or open-toed shoes permitted around horses).
Clothing: Long pants (jeans or riding breeches).
Accessories: Eye protection, a hat for sun safety, and Riding Gloves (available for purchase on-site).
Food & Drink:
Healthy Lunch & Snacks: We are a health-conscious camp! Please pack nutritious fuel for your athlete.
Hydration: A refillable water bottle is mandatory.
Prohibited Items: No sweets, junk food, or horse treats. (Please notify us of any allergies).
The "Unplugged" Rule: To foster true connection and focus, this is an electronics-free zone.
🚫 No: Phones, iPads, Smart Watches, GoPros, or Headphones.
🚫 No: Jewelry (exception: a single set of stud earrings).
